Cross-Curricular / Thematic Studies

Cross-curricular and thematic studies help the teacher to work with students in math,
science, art, writing, reading, and social studies centered around a specific theme.
They involve students in planning and give them choices of authentic, relevant activities
within productive studies. Using a theme as a focal point for various studies helps the
student to learn both the theme and the subject better.
